Intolerant is a song released on 18 November 2014. The video debuted on I Kveld Med Ylvis on the same date. It is also included on Ylvis Volume 1.

Intolerant features Bård on lead vocal, with Vegard singing backup on the final verse. The song is about a young man who has been hiding his lactose intolerance from his girlfriend and the secret is weighing heavily on him. He is finally driven to share it and finds out she has been hiding a gluten intolerance from him. The song ends on a hopeful note with the couple finding a common ground for the relationship after admitting their intolerances.
"Jeg tåler ikke melk veldig godt. Så jeg ønsker å snakke litt om disse tingene som kan ta livet av ethvert kjæresteforhold. Slik sett fungerer låten som lett parterapi", sier Bård Ylvisåker til Bergens Tidende (2014/11/17)

The music video intersperses a realistic depiction of a troubled young couple with fantasy sequences that take place on a "sea" of milk and in a wheat field.
The male member of the couple (Bård) is tormented by the secret he has been keeping from his girlfriend - he can't drink milk. The tension in their bleak apartment finally becomes too much and he lashes out at her, pushing a glass of milk off the table and yelling at her for buying more milk at the store, then smashing the jug against the wall.
The girlfriend responds by confessing her gluten intolerance while he is kneading bread in the kitchen. He gets angry and throws pieces of bread dough at her - she breaks a wine bottle over his head in retaliation.
The couple reconciles when she returns from another trip to the store with a bag of peanuts - something they can both eat. The scenes in their apartment that follow are best described as foreplay with peanuts.
The fantasy sequences in Intolerant are heavily influenced by the Cirque du soleil show O. Bård wears clown makeup and sails on the sea of milk in an umbrella, and Vegard appears at the end in a red coat riding a toy horse. Bård also shows off his aerial silk skills, swinging over the milk while semi-dressed in a cow costume.
The music video for Intolerant was directed by Harald Zwart rather than Ylvis' usual collaborator, Ole Martin Hafsmo, who wasn't available. It was shot in one day on location in Riga, Latvia.
Bård's gluten-intolerant girlfriend was played by Latvian model Eliza Trump.
